Buffalo Bills NFL Draft Needs

2010 NFL Draft Needs of the Buffalo Bills

Current Depth Chart of the Buffalo Bills

Offensive Tackle
The Bills upgraded the interior of their offensive line in last  year’s draft and will need to upgrade the exterior this year.  Their current starters Kirk Chambers and Jonathan Scott would be backups on any other team.  This is the area they should address with their no. 9 overall pick in the draft.

Quarterback
Trent Edwards regressed last season and Ryan Fitzpatrick is a capable backup but not starting material.  If the Bills pass on a tackle with their first pick they could look to add Clausen or Bradford with the no. 9 pick.

Outside Linebacker
With the Bills transitioning to a 3-4 defense in 2010 they’ll be looking for pass rushers who fit that system.  They will hope that the change works wonders for last year’s top pick Aaron Maybin who had a very disappointing rookie campaign.   This is an area they could look to address in the middle rounds.
