Tennessee Titans NFL Draft Team Needs

2010 NFL Draft Needs of the Tennessee Titans

Current Depth Chart of the Tennessee Titans

Defensive End
The Titans lost Pro Bowl defensive end Kyle  Vanden Bosch in free agency and will need to replace him early in the draft.  This will likely be the area they address in round 1 and could look at propsects like Jason Pierre-Paul, Everson Griffen, or even Carlos Dunlap.

Cornerback
The Titans have one very good corner in Cortland Finnegan and an average starter in Roderick Hood on the other side.  Their depth behind them is paper thin.  The Titans have two third round draft picks after receiving a compensatory pick and should use one of them to deepen this position.

Defensive Tackle
It’s been one full year without Big Al Haynesworth and the Titans missed him dearly.  Last year’s second round pick Sen’Derrick Marks didn’t play to the level the Titans were hoping for when they drafted him.  They will hope he can turn it around this year, but should draft someone to push him.  They will likely look for a big space eating type of tackle who can clog up running lanes and free up their linebackers.
