The 2010 NFL Supplemental Draft kicks off this Thursday and I’m suprised the commissioner hasn’t found a way to stretch it out to a three day process and put it on TV. Anyhoo Draftseason will take a look at a few of the better prospects in the draft in case your team should draft one.
Harvey Unga RB, BYU – Unga is by far the best prospect in this draft and the one with the best chance of actually getting drafted. He is a big back standing 6’0 and nearly 240 pounds. Unga is suprisingly quick and is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. He had a very productive collge career rushing for over 3400 yards and 36 touchdowns. About 20 teams attended Unga’s workout, with the Rams seemingly being the front runners for his services.
Joshua Price-Brent DT, Illinois – Price Brent enters the Supplemental Draft following a DUI arrest and suspension from the Fighting Illini. This clearly makes him a candidate for the Bengals but he did have 18 other teams attending his workout. Word from the workout is that the 6’1 320 pound beast looked good and has a chance to be taken with a team using a late round pick on him.

This young man can flat out play. Watched him in High School and College and with a good mentor will give you his all.
