2011 NFL Mock Draft

Hello Everybody!
Lups is here with a completely useless and utterly pointless 2011  Mock Draft.  This is for enjoyment  purposes only as most of these players will end up being day 2 or 3 picks.  Anyway here it goes…

LUPS PRESENTS HIS TOTALLY POINTLESS EXTREMELY PREMATURE SENIORS ONLY 2011 MOCK DRAFT!!!!!!!!

1. BUFFALO BILLS - Jake Locker QB, Washington – The Bills need a quarterback of the future badly, and will take one here.

2. ST. LOUIS RAMS – Adrian Clayborn DE, Iowa – The Rams need a young pass rusher to pair with Howie’s boy.

3. CLEVELAND BROWNS – Cameron Heyward DE, Ohio St. – The Browns need more playmakers on both sides of the ball and Ironhead Jr. gives them one on defense.

4. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS – Bruce Carter OLB, UNC – The Jags need to apply more pressure to QBs, and hope Carter can do that from the linebacker position.

5. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS - Allen Bailey DE, Miami – The Bucs fixed their problem at d-tackle in the 2010 Draft and will work on a solution at end in 2011.

6. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS – Gabe Carimi OT, Wisconsin – The Chiefs bolster their offensive line here with the massive cheesehead.

7. CHICAGO BEARS - Anthony Castanzo OT, Boston College – The Bears solidify their offensive line with the big Bostonian here.

8. DENVER BRONCOS – Greg Jones LB, Michigan St. – The Broncos need a compliment to DJ Williams in the middle of their defense and take the mighty Spartan.

9. ARIZONA CARDINALS – Nate Solder OT, Colorado – The Cardinals need to strenghten their offensive line if they ever want Matt Leinart to succeed.

10. DETROIT LIONS – Ras I Dowling CB, Virginia – The run on tackles has forced the Lions to fix another area of concern which is their secondary.

11. CAROLINA PANTHERS – Marvin Austin DT, UNC – The Panthers get a steal here and fill a major hole in the process.

12. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (FROM OAKLAND) - Greg Romeus DE, Pittsburgh – The Patriots replace Dick Seymour with the pick they received in the trade for him.

13.  WASHINGTON REDSKINS – Jarrell Powe DT, Ole Miss – The Skins take this fat run clogger and have a replacment in case they do trade Albert Haynesworth.

14. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS – Mike Pouncey G/C, Florida - The Seabirds go the unsexy route and pick up a replacement for the traded Rob Sims.

15. MIAMI DOLPHINS - Demarco Murray RB, Oklahoma – The Phins will likely be in the running back market early next year and Murray is a versatile player who could fit in their wildcat system.

16. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - Prince Amukamara CB, Nebraksa – The Eagles continue adding royalty to their team.  A few years ago they got King Dunlap and now land themselves a Prince.

17. PITTSBURGH STEELERS – Christian Ponder QB, FSU – The Steelers seem to be seriously considering trading Roethlisberger so its very possible they take a QB early next year.

18. TENNESSEE TITANS – Von Miller OLB, Texas A&M – The Titans need an upgrade at OLB and find it here with Von Kaiser Miller.

19. HOUSTON TEXANS – DeAndre McDaniel S, Clemson – The Texans failed to land a quality safety prospect in the 2010 Draft but don’t make that mistake again.

20. ATLANTA FALCONS – Jeremy Beal DE, Oklahoma – The Falcons need a consistent pass rush and hope Beal is the real deal.

21. NEW YORK GIANTS – Quinn Sturdivant LB, UNC – The Giants didn’t do enough to solve their problem at linebacker and shoud be taking one early next year.

22. CINCINNATI BENGALS – Noel Devine RB, West Virginia – The Bengals go with an explosive back to pair with the tough running of Ced Benson.

23. SAN FRANCISCO 49ers – Kendric Burney CB, UNC – The 9ers take the undersized but extremely productive Burney and improve their group of corners.

24. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – Evan Royster RB, Penn St. – The Pats need a running back of the future and this would be a great place to take the Royster.

25. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS – Michael Morgan OLB, USC – This pick is made under the assumption Morgan has a breakout year, plus it fills a huge need for the Saints.

26. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS – Stephen Paea DT, Oregon St. – Paea needs to add some weight to his frame but then again the Colts seem to like their linemen undersized.

27. BALTIMORE RAVENS – Deunta Williams S, UNC – The Ravens will be addressing their secondary with this pick next year the only question is will it be at safety or corner?

28. MINNESOTA VIKINGS – Rodney Hudson G, FSU – Hopefully for the Vikings and their fans, there will be a quaterback on the board worth taking here, if not they can fix a position they failed to adequatley address in last year’s draft.

29. DALLAS COWBOYS – Lee Ziemba OT, Auburn – The Cowboys will be looking for their left tackle of the future in this draft and a big man like Ziemba could be the route they go.

30. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS – Marcus Cannon OT, TCU – The Chargers upgrade their offensive line and now can proudly say they are the only team in the league with a starting tandem of tackles made up of guys with the name Marcus.

31. GREEN BAY PACKERS – Curtis Brown CB, Texas – The Packers will be looking for Al Harris’ replacement in this year’s draft and Brown has the kind of size the team likes.

32. NEW YORK JETS – Sam Acho DE, Texas – The Jets should look to add youth on their defensive line here and Acho could line up at end for them.
