1. St. Louis Rams
Sam Bradford QB, Oklahoma – I’ve had Bradford here since mock number one and I have no plans on changing it. This one is locked in. View full player rankings
2. Detroit Lions
King Ndamukong Suh DT, Nebraska – The Lions need to build off of last year’s nice draft by beefing up their trenches. Getting Ndamukong here would be Suhpendous. View full player rankings
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gerald McCoy DT, Oklahoma – The Bucs defense needs to get good real fast. They have a huge hole at defensive tackle and McCoy is a penetrating force who can give an opponent’s offense a major headache. View full player rankings
4. Washington Redskins
Russell Okung OT, Oklahoma St. – With the McNabb trade this pick becomes a lock if Okung is still available. Come to think of it, even without the trade, it should have been a lock. View full player rankings
5. Kansas City Chiefs
Trent Williams OT, Oklahoma – Pick 5 is the swing pick in this draft. I think it comes down to a coin flip between Williams and Berry. In the end, they decide to upgrade their line and protect the money they inserted into the multiple orifices of Matt Cassell. View full player rankings
6. Seattle Seahawks
CJ Spiller RB, Clemson – If the Seahawks want CJ Spiller they’ll have to take him here. There would be a very slim chance that he falls to 14, especially with teams like the Dolphins and 49ers lurking in the shadows. The only question now is do they want him? View full player rankings
7. Cleveland Browns
Eric Berry S, Tennessee – I feel deep in my heart and my loins that the Browns should take Clausen here, unless Berry is available. Berry would give them an identity on defense and would be someone they could build and rally around. View full player rankings
8. Oakland Raiders
Bruce Campbell OT, Maryland – There is no doubt that Campbell is not worth this pick. But until Alzheimer Al proves to me he has the will the will to pass on a workout warrior, I can’t give the Raiders a sensible selection. View full player rankings
9. Buffalo Bills
Bryan Bulaga OT, Iowa – If I were running the Bills I’d go Clausen here and then try to acquire Jared Gaither with my second pick and whatever else it would take. But I’m not running the Bills, hell, I’m not even running this website. Anwyay it seems the Bills are high on Tebow and will be willing to pass on Clausen here. View full player rankings
10. Jacksonville Jaguars
Derrick Morgan DE, Georgia Tech – The Jags registered 14 sacks as a team last season. Adding Kampan helps but he is recovering from a severe injury and may not be available until the midpoint of the season. The Jags may be able to trade down a few slots and still get Morgan, but can they find a partner? View full player rankings
