Version -1.0  updated: 5-2-08

gif   1. Rey Maualaga LB, USC: The Falcons are sure to be picking high next year and will look to take the best defensive player in the draft.
gif   2. Filia Moala DT, USC: Fili is the big penetrating defensive tackle who can shut down the run that the Raiders should have drafted this year. He's got some off the field concerns but that won't stop the Raiders from taking him high.

3. Tyson Jackson DE, LSU: The Lions didn't address this position adequately in the 08 Draft and its sure to be a top priority in 09.

gif   4. Michael Oher OT, Ole Miss : The Chiefs will be looking for offensive line help again in 2009.
gif   5. James Lauranitis LB, Ohio St.: Bears take the son of one of the Road Warriors in hopes he can replace Urlacher in time.
gif   6. Eugene Monroe OT, Virginia: The Titans should grab a receiver early in 09 but they seem to think that they can win with Brandon Jones and company, so they look to protect Young with big Eugene.
gif   7. Malcolm Jenkins CB, Ohio St.: Jets get a shut down corner opposite Revis.
gif   8. Brian Cushing OLB, USC: The Phins go with a stud defender to help what is going to be a bad defense in 2008.
gif

9. Brian Robiskie WR, Ohio St.: Martz will want a good young weapon for Smith and he'll get it here.

gif   10. Michael Johnson DE, Georgia Tech: The Bengals are still one pass rusher short. So they go with M.J. here.
gif

11. Alex Boone OT, Ohio St.: The Bucs decide to upgrade their offensive line here, and why the hell not?

gif   12. Duke Robinson G, Oklahoma: The Cardinals will look to find a guy who can open holes for Edge and Tim Hightower.
gif   13. Phil Loadhoalt OT, Oklahoma : The Ravens will find out in '08 if Jared Gaither is going to pan out, if he doesn't OT will be a top priority in 09.
gif   14. (From Panthers) Victor "Macho" Harris CB, Virginia Tech: Why wouldn't the Eagles draft a guy with the nick name Macho?
gif   15. Matt Shaughnessy DE, Wisconsin: Texans are looking for a pass rush opposite Super Mario.
gif   16. Kevin Ellison S, USC: The Broncos land a replacement for John Lynch.
gif   17. Alex Mack C, California: The Rams should address their o-line or secondary early in 09.
gif   18. Travis Beckum TE, Wisconsin: All the Bills offense needs is a weapon at tight end. Beckum is going to be a big bright shining star.
gif   19. Jeff Owens DT, Georgia : A guy named Jeff Owens just sounds destined for Wisconsin.
gif   20. Herman Johnson G, LSU: Seahawks hope they finally can replace Hutch with Pee Wee Herman Johnson.
gif   21. Max Unger C, Oregon: Steelers didn't upgrade their offensive line enough in 08.
gif   22. Darry Beckwith LB, LSU: Saints should go defense again with this here pick.
gif   23. Brandon Swain DE, West Texas A&M: The Redskins will have problems pressuring the QB in 08. Swain should help that out.
gif   24. William Moore S, Mizzou : The Jags are one safety short of a secondary. Moore would be a solid pick here. As solid as an 09 mock done in early May can be.
gif   25. Demetrius Byrd WR, LSU: The Eagles look to give Kolb/McNabb more weapons in their nest.
gif   26. Mike Mickens CB, Cincinnati: The Browns secondary is going to need some help after the abuse it's going to take in 08.
gif   27. Chase Coffman TE, Mizzou: The Vikings take a fine young tight end who was groomed by 2008 Offensive Rookie of the Year - Martin Rucker.
gif   28. Matt Slauson G/OT, Nebraska: Chargers decide to upgrade their offensive line with the versatile and nasty Slauson.
gif   29. Antonio Appleby LB, Virginia: I'm not going to lie, I put this guy here because I like his name.
gif   30. LaDarius Webb CB, Nicholls St.: Pats will most likely still be in the cornerback market next year.
gif   31. Peria Jerry DT, Ole Miss: The Colts could look at a defensive tackle early next year, so they go with Peria and his Jerry Curl.
gif   32. Michael Jones WR, Arizona St.: The Cowboys need a young receiver and have had good luck with guys named Michael and Jones in the past.
