DraftSeason: Anthony, what are your expectations heading into
the 2007 season, both personally and team wise?
Anthony: Well, first the team, we are looking forward to big
things in the Big East. Hopefully this year we win the
Big East, and get that bid into a BCS bowl. But
personally, I have my eyes set on a couple of UC
records, sacks and tfls in a season and sacks in a
career. But obvisiously, with winning, all of that
comes with it.
DraftSeason: What would you say is your greatest strength on the
football field?
Anthony: I believe my strongest strength would be my quickness
and I try to play with a lot of leverage.
DraftSeason: What would you say is your biggest weakness?
Anthony: My biggest weakness is my size, because I'm not that
big like most DE's. I'm more of an outside linebacker
playing DE.
DraftSeason: You have played both defensive end, and outside
linebacker, which are you more comfortable with, and
which position do you see yourself playing in the
pros?
Anthony: Well, actually playing both of those position helped
me a lot. It helped becuase I was able to see what the
defensive is trying to do. So I was able to get the
concepts faster, so I was able to slow the game a
little because I knew I had to be in certain place and
why I had to be there. Although playing DE is more
comfortable because I've been playing that since high
school. However, I see myself as a good outside
linebacker in a 3-4 system in the pros.
DraftSeason: If you could sack any quarterback in the NFL, who
would it be and why?
Anthony: Peyton Manning, because his pride is his o-line. They
are supposed to be the best in the game because they
can make all of those checks at the line. So if I can
get through the o-line to Peyton, I believe I can get
into his head if I keep hitting him. Eventually help
my team win the game.
DraftSeason: Who was the best player you have ever played
against in college?
Anthony: Levi Brown LT. Penn State
DraftSeason: What will you miss most about playing football for
the University of Cincinnati Bearcats?
Anthony: All the friends and connections that I made while
playing football. I'll miss really going to war with
those cats. Because really thats what we did with the
schedules we had to go through.
DraftSeason: Since you play for the University of Cincinnati,
and we all know how Cincinnatins love their chili;
which is better in your opinion…Skyline or Gold Star?
Anthony: Honestly, Neither because I don't like the way they
load the cheese on the chili dog. But it's a place in
Warren, Ohio called the Hot Dog Shop with the best hot
dogs in world.
