DraftSeason: Curtis, what would you consider to be the strongest part of your
game?
Curtis: Making plays when the team needs me most. I'm good at finding soft
spots in the defense too. I have some pretty nice moves on me too, I can catch you off guard and buckle you a little if you're not
careful...lol.
DraftSeason: What facets of your game need the most improvement?
Curtis: Everything really man, like my speed, hands, route running, BLOCKING
(especially), The NFL is a whole new level so I have to get better.
DraftSeason: Who has been the best defensive player you’ve ever faced in your college career?
Curtis: Paul Oliver from Georgia was pretty good and Tony Joiner from
Florida. He's a big guy, hard to knock down like many other defensive
backs I've faced.
DraftSeason: What NFL wide receiver would you say your game most resembles?
Curtis: I hear Hines Ward a lot but at this point of my career im not on his
level of blocking but I'm hoping to get there. I look up to him though
as a reciever.
DraftSeason: Who was your favorite player/team growing up?
Curtis: Emmitt Smith is my all time favorite along with Michael Irvin. So you know I gotta go with those Cowboys. They basically dominated back then.
DraftSeason: Please finish this sentence…Curtis Hamilton’s hands are as soft as ...
Curtis: Barry Bonds voice...lol j/k! I was blessed with long fingers and
hands thank God cause I'm barely 6'0 at best.
DraftSeason: What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Curtis: I love being around kids, I have a lil' nephew named Shelton, he's my
lil' homie.
DraftSeason: Finally Curtis, do you talk trash on the field, or do you let your
stats do the talking?
Curtis: I trash talk if my opponent is bad mouthing me. I'd rather go out there
and just shut them up with a big play. It's the best feeling in the
world. So far it's been working for me. |
