DraftSeason: DeJuan, what would you say is the strongest part of your game?
DeJuan: I would say the strongest part of my game is my
competitiveness. I just love that fact that I can
compete with different teams every saturday during the
season.I look forward to each game because I love the
sport of football.
DraftSeason: What parts of your game need the most improvement?
DeJuan: I feel like I can work more on my tacking ability.
Last year I missed a few tackles here and there.
DraftSeason: Who has been the best receiver you have ever had to cover?
DeJuan: The best receiver that Ive had to cover was Chris
Henry when we were in the Big East my freshman year.
DraftSeason: Would you say your skills are best suited for man to man coverage or zone coverage?
DeJuan: We play a little man coverage but more zone. I feel
like I've got plenty of reps at both so I'm just as
comfortable playing either.
DraftSeason: Do you feel you can make an immediate impact in the NFL with your return skills?
DeJuan: That's something I can think about when I make it to
the next level. All I can do is try and get better
each day I take the field and hopefully my game will
speak louder than words.
DraftSeason: You are only 5’9, how do you plan on covering NFL receivers who are 6’2 and over?
DeJuan: I treat all receivers the same, no matter how tall
they are. I try and read the hips and make a play on
the ball if it comes my way.
DraftSeason: What does DeJuan Tribble enjoy doing when he isn’t playing football?
DeJuan: I enjoy going to the movies, chilling with my boys.
or playing video games at my apartment.
DraftSeason: Finally, what is your all time favorite flick?
DeJuan: In Too Deep
