DraftSeason: Gary, would you say you are stronger in the blocking
game or are best used as a receiving threat?
Gary: I would say I am not stonger in any one phase I feel I
am good in both phases and I am just working to be the
best I can at both blocking and receiving.
DraftSeason: Is there any current NFL player that you’d say your
style of play most resembles?
Gary: I love the way Todd Heap plays but I don't know who I
resemble. I want to be my own person.
DraftSeason: What has been the highlight of your career so far at
Louisville?
Gary: I would have to say winning the Orange Bowl last year.
DraftSeason: Who was the best defender you’ve ever played against
in your college career?
Gary: I have played against so many great players I don't
think there has been one that has been better than
another.
DraftSeason: True or false; Brian Brohm is the best quarterback in
the nation.
Gary: Brian Brohm is a great quaterback and we will see who
the best is after this season
DraftSeason: Who was your favorite NFL player/team growing up?
Gary: Tampa Bay and Baltimore
DraftSeason: What are you hoping to accomplish both personally and
team wise in your senior season?
Gary: Graduate in Decemeber and have the best season we can
have this year.
DraftSeason: Finally Gary, when its all said and done, and its time
for Gary Barnidge to call it a career, how do you want
to be remembered?
Gary: As a hard worker who helped the community and gave
everything he could every play.
