DraftSeason: Jameson, do you feel that centers are underappreciated at the college and pro levels, or do you feel you get the credit that you deserve?
Jameson: In a way yes and no. I feel that people who just watch football could care less about the Offensive Line, they just follow the stats. The people that understand football understand the importance of the Center as well as the rest of the Offensive Line.
DraftSeason: What are your strengths as a player? What are you weaknesses?
Jameson: My strengths as a player are my tenacity and my field intelligence, my weakness would be that sometimes I can be a little too aggressive during the play.
DraftSeason: Do you feel you could slide over and play Guard in the pros, or are you pretty much going to be a center at the next level?
Jameson: As a pro I will play whatever is asked of me, I would love to play Center but if the team needs a guard I will play that too. I got a chance to play Guard at the Hula Bowl.
DraftSeason: WWho was the best player you ever faced in your days at Buffalo?
Jameson: There have been a lot of good players I have faced over the years two I can think of is Ron Brace from BC and Eric Foster from Rutgers.
DraftSeason: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
Jameson: My favorite pre-game meal…. Well choices are limited it would have to be chicken and pasta, that’s what we got at Buffalo.
DraftSeason: If you could play one of the “sexy” positions which would it be and why?
Jameson: I guess I would play receiver because I have always wanted to score a touchdown, playing receiver would give me a chance to do that.
DraftSeason: Please give us a few words you’d use to describe your style of play.
Jameson: I would say smart, aggressive, and relentless are three words that would describe the way I play on the field.
DraftSeason: And lastly, what will the team that drafts you be getting?
Jameson: Someone who will study the playbook, work hard, and always try to get better. |
