DraftSeason: It has to be quite the change going from Kentucky to one of the best teams in college football, what has been the biggest adjustment you have had to make in ’17?
Jeff Badet: The biggest adjustment I would say after being here for 6 months was getting use to the OU tradition. The family environment and how much they expect us to win. Every game being high stakes was something I wasn’t use to after coming from Kentucky.
DraftSeason: Greatest accomplishment on the field during your college career?
Jeff Badet: I think leading the SEC in yards per catch last season was a huge accomplishment that I had since I’ve been in college.
DraftSeason: You’re a threat as a receiver and returning kicks, what do you feel is your greatest strength on the football field?
Jeff Badet: Greatest strength on field I would say is my speed. I can’t create space from everywhere on the field.
DraftSeason: What does it mean to you to be invited to the East West Shrine Game this offseason?
Jeff Badet: Truly an honor and blessing to receive an invite from East West Shrine Game. It was one of the All Star games I was hoping I got a invite from and I ended up getting it. So I’m truly blessed to give the opportunity to compete with some of the best athletes in the world.
DraftSeason: How is it playing for a quarterback like Baker Mayfield?
Jeff Badet: Playing with Bake is something I wish every receiver can get a chance to. He’s a great person on the field but even better person off the field. Never been around such a great leader like him. I just been cherishing these last moments I have with left. Hopefully we get drafted to the same NFL team.
DraftSeason: Best receiver in the NFL today?
Jeff Badet: Antonio Brown hands down best receiver in the NFL and it so happens he’s from the best state in the country (Florida)
DraftSeason: Greatest passion off the field?
Jeff Badet: Greatest passion off the field is my faith in Christ & family. Without God none of this would be possible and my family is what keeps me motivated everyday.
DraftSeason: In one word, how would you describe your style of play?
Jeff Badet: One word that describes my play is “WOAH”. Once people see me get the ball & burst their first reaction is “woah he’s fast” so I would say that’s a word that describes my play!
