DraftSeason: Any added pressure last year taking over running
back duties for DeAngelo Williams?
Joseph: Not really because I have been in a situation
similar to this one growing up playin this game. The
only difference was the level of play.
DraftSeason: What is your biggest goal for your senior season?
Joseph: My biggest goal this year is to stay focus, keep
working hard and keep God first in my life and I feel
the rest will fall into place.
DraftSeason: What NFL running back do you most look up to and
who do you think you most compare to?
Joseph: I feel that there are alot of great backs in the
NFL but the most noticable to me and who I look up to
is obviously DeAngelo Wiliams. After taking over for
him last year and really feeling what he went through
a whole season really made me respect him more. It's
not easy at all and he was very humble through his
success. I guess by me knowing him personaly and is
close to him has a lot to do with it. I would compare
myself to Warrick Dunn. Small and quick player with
good hands out the backfield.
DraftSeason: You're known for not coughing up the ball, what's
your secret?
Joseph: Working at it everyday at practice. Ball security
is so important and is considered a must in our
system.
DraftSeason: Who has been the toughest defender you have faced
in your college career?
Joseph: I would say Patrick Willis of Ole Miss. Everytime I
touched the ball he was there in on the play. He was
sideline to sideline every play.
DraftSeason: What part of your game needs the most work before
you reach the NFL?
Joseph: I feel that there is always room for improvement.
So my answer is my overall game. I'm always willing
to listen and learn. I will work to be the best.
DraftSeason: Do you feel you can be a full-time go to back at the
next level?
Joseph: Yes, I feel I can do anything I put my mind to and
if I fail I will get back up and do it again. My Goal
is the next level. That's be a dream to me since I was
young but now I'm ready to make this dream come true.
I'm confident.
DraftSeason: Finally, is there any reason you won't top 1,000
yards this season?
Joseph: This is my last year. I'm going to make the best of
it. I believe if you really want something in life you
have to speak it from your heart and really mean it
and it will come to past. I will top 1000 yards this
season.
