DraftSeason: Mike, how tough is it to practice day in and day out in the sweltering heat of Arizona?
Mike: Most of our practices are at night when the sun goes down but being a native of Arizona I am used to the weather here.
DraftSeason: What would you say is the strongest component of your game?
Mike: I think I have pretty good foot work.
DraftSeason: In what areas do you need the most improvement?
Mike: Pass Blocking.
DraftSeason: Who was your favorite team/player growing up?
Mike: I grew up watching the New York Giants.
DraftSeason: What do you enjoy most about playing center for the Sun Devils?
Mike:
I am able to play in my hometown in front of my friends and family.
DraftSeason: Do you feel that centers get the respect/credit that they deserve both professionally and at the collegiate level?
Mike: We're offensive linemen, we don't need to see our names in big bold letters in the paper. We do the dirty work but its nice to get a pat on the back from your teammates.
DraftSeason: What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Mike: I have played guitar for about 6 or 7 years and its one thing i really enjoy in my spare time. Whatever mood I'm in I'll pick up either my electric and rock out or sit down with my acoustic and just jam for a couple of hours.
