NFL Mock Draft (picks 11-22)
11. Denver Broncos (FROM CHICAGO)
Rolando McClain LB, Alabama. – The Broncos put a hefty tender on Brandon Marshall so I”m thinking he stays in town whether he likes it or not. If that is the case the Broncos can focus on defense and get a fine young linebacker in McClain here. View full player rankings
12. Miami Dolphins
Dez Bryant WR, Oklahoma St. – There was a lot of negative buzz about Bryant eminating from the pits of the Combine this weekend. It reminds me of the negative vibes surrounding Crabtree last year. I don’t think the 9ers regret making him the 10th overall pick, and I”m guessing if Bryant falls to the Phins here they won’t have any problem either. View full player rankings
13. San Francisco 49ers
Trent Williams OT, Oklahoma – The 49ers will be looking to bolster their offensive line with one of their first two picks. Williams surprised many with the athleticism he showed at the Combine and the 9ers will snap him up quickly. View full player rankings
14. Seattle Seahawks (From Denver)
Jimmy Clausen QB, Notre Dame – The Seahawks need a quarterback of the future and would love to get their feathers on Clausen here. View full player rankings
15. New York Giants
Earl Thomas S, Texas - The Giants will be drafting defense early and often this draft. Getting E.T. here would be nice start. View full player rankings
16. Tennessee Titans
Jason Pierre-Paul DE, South Florida – The Titans need to get someone opposite Vanden Bosch who can get after the passer. Pierre-Paul is extremely raw but is extremely talented. If he gets by the Raiders he could fall here, but the Titans must realize he is the utlimate boom or bust player. View full player rankings
17. San Francisco 49ers (From CAROLINA)
CJ Spiller RB, Clemson – The 49ers can’t resist passing on Spiller here. He is an explosive ball carrier not just on offense but is a frightening return man too. View full player rankings
18. Pittsburgh Steelers
Mike Iuapati G, Idaho – The Steelers offense line let Big Ben get nailed way to much last year. Iuapati can play guard and play it well from day one. View full player rankings
19. Atlanta Falcons
Brandon Graham DE, Michigan – The Falcons need to generate a more threatening pass rush. Graham has a non stop motor and the pressure he will provide will also help the Falcons young secondary. View full player rankings
20. Houston Texans
Dan Williams DT, Tennessee – With Okoye being more of a penetrator the Texans take D.W. and let him clog up the run game and free up their exceptional two linebackers. View full player rankings
21. Cincinnati Bengals
Golden Tate WR, Notre Dame – The Bengals offense has gone flaccid. Tate can be that little purple pill that will get everyone up and start putting points on the board . View full player rankings
22. New England Patriots
Sergio Kindle OLB, Texas – The Patriots defense was a weakness all year. They need to get younger at OLB, and Kindle’s combination of size and speed would be a welcome addition to this aging defense. View full player rankings
