Arthur Jones Interview

DraftSeason: Arthur, one of your brothers also plays for Syracuse, and the other is a mix martial arts fighter, how competitive were the three of you growing up, and who is the best football player of the bunch?
Arthur: Growing up in my household everything was competitive. From the last cookie to playing video games, haha. The best football player in my family is me of course, but Chandler is on the right track to be another great at Syracuse University.

DraftSeason: Your season has been cut short due to a knee injury, how is the recovery coming along and will you be able to participate in the Senior Bowl, Comibine, or your Pro-Day?
Arthur: I’m getting surgery tomorrow and I’m on track to competing at the Senior Bowl and the combine.

DraftSeason: What would you say you do best on the football field?
Arthur: Being a strong leader through the ups and downs. Also always being around the football.

DraftSeason: Who is the best offensive lineman you’ve ever battled against in your college career?
Arthur: Eric Wood of the Buffalo Bills (Louisville)

DraftSeason: What are some thing you enjoy doing when you aren’t busy busting heads on the football field?
Arthur: I enjoy just relaxing, fishing and going to UFC fights to support my brother.

DraftSeason: Do you have any expectations on where you think you’ll be drafted this coming April?
Arthur: That’s the fun part of the NFL Draft. I have no clue.

DraftSeason: What was the highlight of you career at Syracuse?
Arthur: The highlight of my carrer at Syracuse was being able to play this season with my younger brother.
