2011 NFL Draft | 2011 NFL Mock Draft

Jeremy Williams Interview

DraftSeason: Jeremy, what part of your game makes you stand out amongst the other top receivers in this years draft?
Jeremy: I just think that I have a mentality that when the ball is in the air, its my ball and nobody is going to stop me from getting it. I just want to make as many big plays as possible during a game.

DraftSeason: What do you think is the strongest part of your game?
Jeremy: I would say my ability to always get the ball at its highest point possible and my hands.

DraftSeason: Who has been the player to wear the Tulane jersey in the past 4 years?
Jeremy: Me I guess.

DraftSeason: Which person has had the biggest influence on your football career so far?
Jeremy: My grandmother. She has been there for me since day one and she makes almost every single game. She is amazing.

DraftSeason: If you could meet one person dead or alive who would it be and why?
Jeremy: I would’ve liked to meet Michael Jackson just because he was such a legend and icon in music and I would’ve been so star struck by just being in the same room as him.

DraftSeason: Do you talk a lot of trashing during a game or are you content to let your play speak for itself?
Jeremy: I don’t trash talk very much, I usually let my game speak for me. But if a DB is trash talking me the whole game and I beat him all game. He’ll definitely get some words from me.

DraftSeason: Which current NFL player do you have the most respect for?
Jeremy: Andre Johnson. I’m a Houston Texans fan and he is definitely my favorite receiver. He is just a beast out there and that’s how i want to be.

DraftSeason: Finally Jeremy, if you had to bet on it, which round would you say you go in come April?
Jeremy: Even though I would love to say 1st round, you never know how the teams are going to pick until that day comes. So, if I had to bet on it I would say 2nd round. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
