DraftSeason: Nick, what was it like participating in the East West Shrine Game and
practices, and how do you feel you fared against some of the best
players in the country?
Nick: It was nice to know that we were helping out the kids at the Shrine hospital and the competition was good. I felt I did a great job and made many plays.
DraftSeason: What would you say are the strengths of your game, and what are your
weaknesses?
Nick: I get off the ball very well. I can pash rush for a big guy and am very powerful. My weaknesses are that I stand up to tall sometimes when taking on double teams.
DraftSeason: If you could sack any current NFL quarterback who would it be and why?
Nick: Easy answer, it would be Brett Favre because he is the player that I have admired since I was younger until now.
DraftSeason: Who was the best player you ever faced in your career as a Badger?
Nick: I would have to say myself. I control my destiny and I have had a lot of bumps down the road that I had to overcome.
DraftSeason: You were the leader of the Badgers’ defense, did you mostly lead with
your play on the field, or are you also a vocal leader in the locker room
who is going to get in guys faces and fire them up?
Nick: I believed in leading my team on the field becuase thats were it counted the most.
DraftSeason: What are some words you would you use to describe your style of play?
Nick: Smart and physical
DraftSeason: What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Nick: I want to start learning how to play the guitar and have a band when I get older.
DraftSeason: Finally, what is your all time favorite movie?
