Outhouse 2009 NFL Mock Draft

The Outhouse
DraftSeason Guru | Highlight Video

Outhouse is an uneducated, misinformed, overweight football mind that likes to ramble about the first thing that comes to his warped mind. He may write about the best linebackers that came out of the 4th round, he may write about his dog Belle getting sick on the carpet last night.

OUTHOUSE'S NFL MOCK DRAFT

ROUND 1

1. Detroit - Andre Smith OT Alabama - You can take one of the two stud quarterbacks, or you can look at what Miami did by taking Jake Long last year.

2. St Louis - Matt Stafford QB Georgia - Bulger doesn't seem to be getting it done anymore, and with so many holes to fill, they might as well start with thier offensive leader.

3. Kansas City - Aaron Curry OLB Wake Forest - Again, too many holes to fill. Don't be surprised to see them trade down, if not, they take the best defensive player in this years draft.

4. Seattle - Michael Crabtree WR Texas - The Seahawks have been trying to fill the Wide Receiver position for a while now, I think they finally can with Crabtree!

5. Cleveland - Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State - The Browns take the top rated DB in the draft. It doesn't hurt he's a local product either!!

6. Cincinatti - Michael Oher OT Mississippi - Do you take the best defensive player abailable?? Or do you take an anchor for your offensive (No pun intended) line?!?!

7. Oakland - Eugene Monroe OT Virginia - Taking the top senior OT in this class would be good insurance for what they have invested in Russell & McFadden.

8. Jacksonville - Jason Smith OT Baylor - They need help on both the offensive line and the middle of their defensive line. With the big run on OT's, they go with Smith.

9. Green Bay - Brian Orakpo DE Texas - Kampman needs help on the other end

10. San Francisco - Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma - If Bradfors somehow falls to the 9'ers, nobody will even remember who Alex Smith was.

11. Buffalo - Michael Johnson DE Georgia Tech - He's very fast for his size, and the Bills need more than 22 sacks a season.

12. Denver - Ray Maualuga LB USC - Should be an instant upgrade to the Bronco's horrible run defense.

13. Washington - Greg Hardy DE Ole Miss - Let's face it, Jason Taylor is better at dancing than sacking a quarterback.

14. New Orleans - James Laurinaitis LB Ohio State - Their defense is still awful, and Vilma is set to be a free agent.

15. Houston - Taylor Mays S USC - With Mays in the defensive backfield, the pieces would finally be coming together for a young, strong defense.

16. San Diego - Beanie Wells RB Ohio State - Let's face it, LT isn't getting any younger, and if Wells is still here at #16, there's nobody better to have learn from the best.

17. New York Jets - Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri - Coles still put up decent numbers this year, but he isn't getting any younger.

18. Chicago - Geoarge Selvie DE South Florida - One word for Chicago's Defense - OLD!!

19. Tampa Bay - BJ Raji DT Boston College - So long, nice to know you Chris Hovan!!!

20. Detroit (From Dallas)- Everett Brown DE Florida - The Lions get an anchor for each of their offense & deffensive lines.

21. Arizona - Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia - Edge has lost his edge, & Hightower isn't the every down back they thought they had.

22. Philadelphia - Peria Jerry DT Ole Miss - Staying young in the middle can only help the Eagle's D.

23. Minnesota - Vontae Davis CB Illinois - Do you go OL or do you go CB?? Either would be fine with me.

24. New England - Alphonso Smith CB Wake Forest - The pats need to get back to where they once were on defense.

25. Atlanta - Terrence Cody DT Alabama - Coach Smith has done one hell of a job in Atlanta, DT is one of the few "needs" for the dirty birds.

26. Miami - Victor Harris CB Virginia Tech - A much improved Dolphins team can upgrade in the defensive backfield.

27. Baltimore - Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland - Not as proven as one wants to see, but the upside is worth the risk with an aging Mason in the lineup.

28. Philadelphia (From Carolina)- Branden Pettigrew TE Okalahoma St. - Maybe Philly will finally start to get McNabb some targets with Jackson last year and Pettigrew this year.

29. Indianapolis - Brian Cushing LB USC - The Colts are still struggling against the run.

30. New York Giants - Percy Harvin WR Florida - Let's face it, the Giants WR group is one big question mark.

31. Pittsburgh - Max Unger OL Oregon - The Steelers need on the OL, & Unger can play anywhere needed.

32. Tennessee - Jermaine Gresham TE Okalhoma - Collings/Young need a reliable TE to compliment their two headed rushing attack.
