Senior Bowl Losers

As always their are the unfortunate who fail to shine at the Senior Bowl. Below is a quick list of the players that failed to impress at the 2010 Senior Bowl.

Dexter McCluster | Running Back/Receiver | Ole Miss
Yes, McCluster had a great week of practice during the Senior Bowl, but when it came to game time he was almost invisible. He ended up with -1 rushing yards and also lost a fumble. He did show a little spark receiving totaling 3 catches for 30 yards. As a return man where many were looking for McCluster to shine he looked average and failed to bust a long return. Overall he helped his stock with a strong week of practice but as far as the game he was a disappointment.

Tim Tebow | Quarterback | Florida
You have to give Tebow credit for attending the Senior Bowl as many would have opted to save the goods for personal workouts/combine.  Tebow looked uncomfortable in the pocket and ended up putting the ball on the ground twice. He only manage to rack up 50 yards passing with no touchdowns OR interceptions. Unless Tebow can wow scouts during his workouts it is looking more and more likely Tebow won’t hear his name called until round 2 or 3.

Myron Rolle | Safety | Florida St.
Seriously, did Rolle even play? The only time I saw him was on the sidelines doing an interview.

Javier Arenas | Corerback | Alabama
With some teams already up in the air on how Arenas will be able to handle NFL receivers, Saturday didn’t help his cause. Arenas seemed to get worked by Mardy Gilyard all day long including a long touchdown pass.
